Dodge equips 2014 Durango full-size SUV with 8-speed for 9% boost in fuel economy

Chrysler’s Dodge brand introduced the 2014 Dodge Durango full-size SUV at the 2013 New York International Auto Show. The new Durango competes in the full-size SUV segment, which with 900,000 units sold in 2012, has jumped 82% since 2009. Durango’s standard 3.6-liter EPA fuel economy estimates are not yet available.

CARB settles with FCA for $5.6M for violations of air quality regulations on certain gasoline engines

The FCA vehicles and model years (MY) involved in the settlement include MY 2012 through 2018 Ram 1500, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango vehicles, equipped with 5.7L gasoline engines. This engine configuration was found to not comply with certification emission standards when it was tested by CARB.
