Audi’s principle of downsizing: “ Forced induction replaces displacement ” One twin-scroll turbocharger per cylinder bank compresses the fresh air. Technologies such as plate honing are used during assembly of the V8 at the Audi plant in Györ, Hungary. The piston pins have a fine, diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating.
