Key properties include low volatility; chemical inertness; high oxidative and thermal stabilities; wide temperature range; non-toxic and biologically inert; and no flash point (non-flammable). Blue Current’s engineers are working on modifying the molecular structure of the electrolyte in order to speed up lithium ion motion.
