Freightliner Inspiration truck receives autonomous vehicle licensing from Nevada DMV

Nevada has granted the first license for an autonomous commercial truck—the Freightliner Inspiration—to operate on an open public highway in the United States to Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA). The driver is in control of the vehicle for exiting the highway, on local roads and in docking for making deliveries.
