During our time at the Crown media launch program in Nashville, the difference between the two felt larger as the Hybrid Max has the makings of a sports crossover, while the Hybrid will be more at home as a commuter and running errands in-town. The Crown is an all-new design direction for Toyota, and one we like.

The PHEV Kit was checked and shown in good functionally operating order; the depleted battery pac was replaced and re-invigorated and balanced with a B&B EB20 battery pack. Even EVJerry got quite a PbA lead gel training course with lots of 'hands on' practical exercises included! More edited in details to follow with some stats.

The plug-in hybrid vehicle the “Spirit of DC" was designed to run on electricity alone for about 10 miles before reverting back to acting like an ordinary hybrid. Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle All Around America (PHEV3A) tour with "EVJerry" Asher driving started last year on Earth Day, in front of the Nation’s Capitol.
