Electrify America releases $300M Cycle 2 national ZEV investment plan; metro charging, autonomous charging, renewable generation

Electrify America will invest in metro-based direct current fast charging (DCFC) stations in 18 metro areas, including these new metro areas in Cycle 2: Atlanta, Baltimore, Honolulu, Las Vegas and Phoenix. Metro DCFC stations will be placed in retail locations and are intended to serve EV drivers in their daily fueling needs.

Clean Energy signs deals for more than 20M gallons of renewable natural gas in past 45 days

The County of Denver has signed a three-year service agreement for its CNG station, which provides fuel to over 30 CNG refuse trucks for an expected 750,00 gallons. In Las Vegas, Clean Energy is expanding Republic Services’ largest natural gas truck yard in the country, adding 92 time-fill fueling spots.

US DOE Awards $300 Million in Clean Cities Grants to Support Alternative Fuels, Vehicles, and Infrastructure Development

The program includes the installation of 10 alternative fuel refueling sites (two B20, one Electric Recharging, and seven CNG). The project will deploy 554 alternative fuel and hybrid electric vehicles and install 153 alternative fueling and electric vehicle charging stations throughout the Chicago region. Total DOE award: $15,000,000.
