Today's Junkyard Find , found in a yard just south of Denver , is a nicely preserved example of the final year of the S110 Silvia , as well as of the Datsun name. Meanwhile, the S12 Silvia would ditch the disco-ized 1970s look for 1984. The MSRPs for those cars were $6,666 and $6,442, respectively ($20,677 and $19,982 after inflation).

I think this van began its career as a work vehicle for a market or caterer in the Denver metropolitan region, then became an individual's personal transportation in later decades. The build tag says it was built at the Lorain plant in Ohio. This one has the slider.

Last week, a first-model-year Lark sedan showed up at a self-service yard just south of Denver , and I was there to document it in its final parking spot. The firewall tag says it's a 59V Deluxe, which the Standard Catalog describes as being built only for "special order sales, Marshal sales, fleet sales and sales outside the United States."
