Costs continued to decline, especially for light duty vehicle applications; the cost per kilowatt (kW) for high volume production of transportation fuel cells moved closer to DOE’s target of $30 per kW. The US, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Japan, and other countries bolstered efforts to deploy hydrogen fueling infrastructure.
