GM is bringing back the Hummer brand as an EV within the GMC brand. GM, shifting focus to pure EVs, built the last Volt on February 19, 2019. GM’s signature EV now is the Chevrolet Bolt EV , another new name, which arrived as a 2017 model and promptly won Motor Trend ’s Car of the Year award. I’m hoping for the latter.

GM has announced plans for public sales in 2010, and almost every carmaker now says it will sell PHEVs or highway-speed battery electric vehicles (BEVs) sometime after 2010. Establishing dealer network. Plans Saturn Vue PHEV-10. Aims to get Saturn Vue on road in 2010; no production goal. Ford Escape PHEV-40 around 2012.
