The transport carrier in the Czech city of Ústí nad Labem and Solaris Bus & Coach have signed a framework agreement for the purchase of zero-emission Urbino 12 hydrogen buses. The buses will be capable of covering at least 350 km (217 miles) on a single refill.

Solaris unveiled its Urbino 18 hydrogen bus, the company’s second hydrogen bus in its zero-emission offering. The electricity from the hydrogen fuel cell in this articulated Solaris bus is transferred directly to the driveline. The bus will be able to cover about 350 km (217 miles) on a single refill in various weather conditions.
