Volkswagen has developed a new generation manual gearbox; the MQ281 saves up to five grams of CO 2 per kilometer depending on the engine-gearbox combination. This enabled us to design a completely new oil conduction system. The design used friction-minimized bearings with low-contact seals. MQ281 manual transmission.
