Shai Agassi predicts that Israel will have over 100,000 electric vehicles in use by 2010.

So far Israel, Denmark, Australia , Hawaii and California’s Bay Area have plans to implement the Better Place model. Instead, the focus over the coming years will apparently be on including the vehicle’s battery as part of a local home or office area network. The best part? The elegance of that is wonderful.
