I have talked about the total cost of ownership for EVs compared with both hybrid and traditional ICE vehicles. In my conversations, I focus primarily on the overall total cost of ownership and I have encouraged some friends to convert. He has also been the Secretary for the West Virginia EAA since 2017.

Their solution to the cost of thenew-generation batteries is to separate them from the car itself. Buyerswill purchase the car – at about the same price as a conventional model –but lease the batteries from a third-party energy supplier for a monthly feeequivalent to the fuel costs for an economical petrol or diesel car.
