has begun production of all-electric, heavy-duty drayage trucks capable of hauling 30-ton shipping containers in and around the San Pedro Bay, California port complex. The E30 uses a 100 hp (75 kW) continuous rated 230 volt AC vector duty electric motor connected to a flux vector variable frequency controller. Balqon Corp.
