Tesla Motors, Inc. and Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) intend to cooperate on the development of electric vehicles, parts, and production system and engineering support. Tesla also has purchased the former NUMMI factory in Fremont, California, where it will build the Model S sedan ( earlier post ) and future Tesla vehicles.

As with the NEV fiasco, credit-building schemes are taking precedence over production zero emission vehicles on the road. BMW is playing by the rules, and one can't blame the corporation for doing what corporations do. Pioneers’ inquiries about the applicability of the federal $7500 tax credit continue to be stonewalled.
