Mazda Motor Corporation and Ford Motor Company’s joint venture, AutoAlliance (Thailand) Co. AAT), will invest US$350 million in its pickup truck plant to support the production of Mazda and Ford’s next generation pickup trucks. The investment will enable production of the new compact pickups to commence in mid-2011.

Mazda Motor Corporation and Ford Motor Company inaugurated their new joint venture manufacturing passenger car plant at AutoAlliance Thailand (AAT). The completed passenger car plant increases the total annual production capacity at AAT to 275,000 units (including CKD units).
