San Jose/San Francisco Bay Area, Redmond/Bellevue, Wash., Washington DC/Baltimore, Southern Michigan (including Grand Rapids, Lansing, Ann Arbor and Detroit).

A home usually uses 2.6kW daily, so up to three days of emergency power is available–or more if not all appliances are used, giving the electric utility time to restore power.
