Uniti, also from Sweden, revealed its One, an urban electric minicar for the no-frills yet always-connected set. And Kia has officially nudged its Soul EV ahead one model year. Volvo introduced its first electric car yesterday, and elaborated on a plan that will pay owners of its plug-in hybrids to, well, plug in.

Independent of specific connector type, charging stations fall into three main categories, each with distinct attributes: Level 1 – De Facto/Legacy Charging Level 1 chargers connect to regular 110/220-volt AC (alternating current) electric outlets, ranging in output from 1 to 7.5 kWs and are included with EVs manufactured in the U.S.

The reveals of the Canoo pickup and Kia EV6 have heads turning and yet another automaker, BMW-owned Mini this time announced plans that it would only produce battery-electric vehicles from 2030. In a press release, Kia called the exterior design “crossover inspired,” but the EV6’s sleek lines are still quite car-like.
