Lutz, who retired earlier this year, called the car Detroits "moon shot" and an attempt to wrest the mantle of innovation back from the Japanese. AND the Detroit car companies were laughing. The Obama Administration doesnt understand that. The Volt is, and always has been, more than than an electric car. Let them go bankrupt.
