April 2023 – Good month for Volkswagen in the UK

The UK car market saw plugin electric vehicles take 21.9% April’s combined plugin result of 21.9% plugin hybrids (PHEVs). YoY overall market growth, BEVs grew volume 59% to 20,522 units, and PHEVs grew 33%, to 8,595 units. Most of the auto market’s volume growth, in fact, came from plugins. year on year.

Theres a company in Guernsey (a UK island) which does conversions (the Mk1 shape), but I want a current shape model and a 60 mile range is just fine. This must be some kind of private venture. There are already about 300 of them being leased on a trial basis.
