ABB and Volvo Buses partnering on fast-charging system for hybrid and electric buses

ABB and Volvo Buses are partnering to co-develop and to commercialize electric and hybrid buses with open standards-based direct current (DC) fast charging systems. Charging time ranges from 1 minute in the bus stops to 6 minutes at the end of the route when the bus needs to wait. The system is based on internationally certified standards.
