This past week not only had the usual automaker electrification declarations and teases of EVs to come such as the Kia EV6 and Lexus LF-Z concept EV, but we had a huge April Fools’ joke from Volkswagen. Lightning eMotors is a Colorado-based EV manufacturer that specializes in zero-emissions solutions for commercial fleets.
