If you build a car as a "kit car" with no real factory, then yes, it will never be an economic success. Denmark did that with Wind Power and now most of their energy comes from wind rather than oil, natural gas, or coal. A simple, clean, efficient EV that wont run out of juice because of its on-board gas generator.
