Considered by many to be the ultimate eco-car, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation finally unveiled the production version of the i-MiEV as part of World Environment Day in Tokyo. The i-MiEV uses a three-way charging system that allows the drive battery to be charged at home or when on the move.

Toyota Prius named WhatGreenCar of the Year

The title of WhatGreenCar Car of the Year 2009 has been awarded to the ‘next generation’ Toyota Prius, due to be launched in the UK on 1 st August 2009.
