Methanol synthesis: After the CO 2 and H 2 feedstock has been obtained at sufficient purity and concentration, the same catalytic conversion unit is required to convert the gas into crude methanol, a mixture of methanol and water, at elevated temperature and pressure. Compression: Reaction gas is prepared by mixing H 2 and CO 2.
