With two Electric cars, at the time a Nissan Lean and Mitsubishi Outlander, we use a considerable amount of electricity but not much petrol, so already we were a reasonable way down the less CO2 road. I heard that you can change zones 3 times and then you have to purchase another car. Nuclear waste is a problem much harder to solve than CO2, and dams have quite an impact in the environment. Ill never purchase one again, no matter what the mpgs. A simple, clean, efficient EV that wont run out of juice because of its on-board gas generator. The fact that no journalists do their research to bring up all those connections is sad, sad. Why cant they just pull out the EV1 again? Call it the EV2? thats right.
