Many of the technologies that reduce climate change emissions also significantly reduce the operating costs of passenger vehicles on a month-to-month basis for consumers. The current maximum ethanol content allowed in commercial gasoline is 10% by volume and is expected to remain at 10% for the foreseeable future, according to ARB.
