It processes ANS (Alaskan North Slope), Middle Eastern and West African crudes and supplies 25% of the Los Angeles gasoline demand. A 420MW cogeneration facility located on-site, of which BP has 51% ownership, provides electricity to the Southern California Edison electrical grid. The closing is expected to happen before mid-2013.

EVs are Better for the Environment Over the course of their lifetimes , EVs generate less than half of the GHG emissions of comparable gasoline-powered vehicles. keeps getting cleaner, meaning that these benefits will continue to grow in future years. Since EVs don’t use gasoline, they reduce America’s dependence on foreign oil.

At the 2023 Indianapolis 500 on May 28 in Indianapolis, Indiana, all 33 cars will be running on Shell 100-percent renewable biofuel, using carbon neutral motor oil, and rolling on Firestone Firehawk tires made with recycled plastics. So we let them know there is a less expensive and cleaner option.
