US DOE Awards $300 Million in Clean Cities Grants to Support Alternative Fuels, Vehicles, and Infrastructure Development

Selected projects, by size of award, are: State of Wisconsin’s Wisconsin Clean Transportation Program. The project will deploy 502 alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles through 119 public and private fleets throughout the state. Greater New Haven Clean Cities Coalition, Inc.’s Total DOE award: $15,000,000.

First public trial of electric smart is launched

Cenex will deliver the trials in partnership with Newcastle-based consultancy Future Transport Systems and Newcastle University’s Transport Operations Research Group (TORG). The trail of the cars was announced in September at the National Low Carbon Vehicle Event by Cenex and Regional Development Agency One North East.
