After Europe, the international version of the EQB, produced in Kecskemét, Hungary, will be launched at the end of the year, followed by the US market launch in 2022.

BYD set to begin EV production in Thailand in Q3 After showcasing its full range of brands at the Bangkok Auto Show this week, BYD said it will kick off EV production in the country in Q3. The fully electric BYD Atto 3 SUV was the top-selling electric model, with over 19,200 units delivered.

With the Concept EQS, Mercedes-Maybach is providing a clear preview of the first fully electric series-production model for the luxury brand. A further all-electric model is also set to appear on this basis, the EQS SUV, which will go into series production in 2022, even before the Maybach. A long-range version is also planned.
