The purity of Chvaletice’s HPMSM exceeds the published Chinese specification, as impurities in Chvaletice’s HPMSM process are controlled to a tighter level. For HPMSM produced in China via EMM dissolution, the main contributor is the same: embodied emissions in the electricity grid mix.

The Chinese start-up Byton, which is developing fully networked and highly automated electric vehicles ( earlier post ) has commissioned Dürr to construct a complete paint shop. In October 2019, the Chinese OEM Future Mobility Corporation (FMC) will begin production of electric vehicles under the Byton brand at its company site in Nanjing.
