Our system was configured with two battery units each with 2.4kWh storage giving 4.8KWh of maximum stored capacity. Then as the sun sets in the West, hopefully the battery pack would have enough juice to power the house for the rest of the evening. . Lux is another Chinese firm growing like crazy as the world moves to solar. .

Then consider that in order to actually go any farther than the neighbood store, one still had to have ANOTHER car. Denmark did that with Wind Power and now most of their energy comes from wind rather than oil, natural gas, or coal. A simple, clean, efficient EV that wont run out of juice because of its on-board gas generator.
