China’s Aiways launches new EV hatch, considers Aussie launch

The bigger U7 has been previewed in concept form. second 0-100km/h time and a recharging rate up to 90kW. If Aiways does show up in Australia it will join fellow Chinese brands selling EVs here including MG , BYD , GWM and Ora and Chery (yet to launch). 2023 Aiways U6. an Australian launch was under consideration.

Electric Car Watch #4: Toyota is the new Kodak

Toyota unveiled a concept version of a new electric SUV, the BZ4X, which will be the first in a new line of battery-electric vehicles. Range of a compact car using this platform is expected to be roughly 300km, and 600km for larger cars. The first car on the eTNGA platform was shown in this year’s Auto Shanghai motor show.
