BYD’s conventional gas-powered cars are selling well these days in China, and his electric plug-in electric model looks like it will come to market with a longer range and a lower sticker price than the new Toyota Prius much-hyped Chevy Volt. BYD is an amazing company. I’ve never seen anything like it. Not so this time around.

In 2020 Tesla sold exactly 1000 of these for every solar-year day. This is a global challenge, to which different countries can contribute in different ways, and the big picture must be in view.
