These European designs are perfectly good EVs, although their limited battery range and high price compared to the gasoline versions are major drawbacks. This marketing choice by Ford is either a very bad idea (brand dilution) or a genius plan to move the pony car into the modern era. Next up will be the ID.Buzz electric minivan.

Iconic design, two-tone paint, three rows, AWD; whatever you call it, the Buzz won’t be cheap. The 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz electric minivan has been coming to North America for a long, long time. Ford, Hyundai, Kia, and GM will all launch vehicles into that segment over the next couple of years. Now we know VW will join them.

Pricing for the Circuit has not been announced but will likely undercut the Tesla. Possibilities include a minivan and an Jeep Wrangler-like off-roader. They will also compete against new hybrids from Ford, Toyota ( TM ) and Honda ( HMC ), which are entering the market now. They will also differ greatly in terms of vehicle type.

Thankfully, since parts of the powertrain in the Circuit are also used in other Chrysler ENVI vehicles - like the all-electric USPS minivan that was unveiled earlier today - work that is done on one model can be applied to others. An (expected) high price tag. For now, if you want to keep moving, you need to keep pressing go.
