Jiangnan Shipyard, owned by China State Shipbuilding Corp (CSSC), has ordered an LPG (liquefied propane gas)-burning MAN B&W 6G60ME-LGIP engine in connection with the building of an 86,000-m 3 VLGC (Very Large Gas Carrier) for Tianjin Southwest Maritime (TSM), the Chinese shipping company.

Tesla briefly entered the list of top sellers, with the Model Y also topping the SUV sales charts in September. To continue the earlier theme, I’m looking forward to driving three new Chinese EV entries to the Australian market, all of them potentially offering outstanding value for money. It was also a year of EV milestones.

Expect pricing somewhere around $40K as well as a generous list of standard equipment, something on show in the BYD Atto 3 that is already on sale. Chinese-owned MG has enjoyed early EV success in Australia with the ZS EV.
