HKG and Pininfarina introduce two more microturbine range extended EVs; graphene-enhanced LTO batteries

At Auto Shanghai 2017, China-based Hybrid Kinetic Group (HK), with its partner Pininfarina, introduced two more microturbine range-extended electric vehicles: the five-seat K550 and 7-seat K750 SUVs. The graphene-enhanced LTO battery pack features high power and high-C charging/discharging. The unit is composed of less than 40 parts.

Hybrid Kinetic H600 microturbine range-extended electric vehicle concept runs 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds

At the Geneva Auto Show, the China-based Hybrid Kinetic group unveiled the H600 microturbine range-extended electric vehicle sedan concept, produced together with its vehicle design and engineering partner, Pininfarina. The fast charging capability allows the H600 to recover up to 30% of kinetic energy.

Vinfast announces all-electric strategy and full electric vehicle lineup; halting ICE production by end of year

All five electric vehicles were designed by Pininfarina and Torino Design. The total monthly cost for driving VinFast EVs is approximately equal to gasoline costs in each market.
