Used Priuses, especially the Generation 2 that were made from 2004 to 2009 are becoming a bargain to buy, especially for the MPG and features you get in return. On the way there, I made a pit stop at a gas station to buy a bottle of champagne as a gift, hoping to start out a conversation with a stranger on the right foot.

The EPA rated the Santa Cruz’ fuel economy at 19 mpg city/27 highway/22 combined. 4-cylinder that gets 21 mpg city/26 highway/23 combined with front-wheel drive, and 21/27/23 mpg with AWD. We also feature those efficient gas-powered vehicles that are among the top mpg vehicles in their class.

The wireless phone charging was appreciated. For even more space, the second row folds flat producing plenty of room for a run to the DIY store or maybe some antiquing. The EPA rates the CX-9 AWD at 20 mpg city/26 highway/23 combined. The handling, with accurate electric power steering, belied this was a large crossover.
