My desire was to learn how to live with an EV away from one’s familiar territory and also to find out what one has to do to overcome charging station issues and learn how to live with it. Fortunately it’s becoming less of an issue now the newest EVs have a range of up to 300 miles on a full battery charge.

The US Department of Transportation (DOT) is awarding $100 million in Economic Recovery Act funding to 43 transit agencies for projects to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions from both vehicles and facilities. The project includes quick-charging stations at this terminal layover in route to recharge bus batteries.
