Goodbye To the Minivan. Kia is out of the minivan business and is shaking up things with the all-new 2022 Carnival. The Korean car company will remind you it is not a minivan but an MPV or Multi-Purpose Vehicle. With those words it hopes to remove the stigma of people saying “I will never own a minivan.”. Amy Sinclair is the only woman presently serving on the board of the Golden Gate Electric Vehicle Association (GGEVA) , and for many years she has been one of the few female members of this Electric Auto Association (EAA) Bay Area chapter. And in California, we have to keep diversity in mind when it comes to putting women in EVs.

In an odd marketing twist, the new Ford Mustang Mach-E is an all-new all-electric car, but wears a hugely iconic name that is nothing like traditional Mustangs except for its horse badge and vigorous powertrain. It also toyed with the idea of presenting Prius as a sub-brand at the point it had four different models, but dropped it.

Thankfully, since parts of the powertrain in the Circuit are also used in other Chrysler ENVI vehicles - like the all-electric USPS minivan that was unveiled earlier today - work that is done on one model can be applied to others. Well see how the masses respond when they are presented with the full reality of Chryslers first (?)
