The Saturn version of the two-mode plug-in hybrid at the Milford Proving Grounds. Buick will focus on North America and China. The Cadillac Converj extended-range electric vehicle Concept uses the Voltec platform. I was able to spend 10 minutes driving a Saturn Aura sedan with an (HCCI) engine system.

In late 2008, BYD started selling the first production PHEV in China. General Motors Chevy Volt series PHEV, which it calls "extended range electric vehicle" (EREV), part of "E-Flex" multi-fuel platform. Plans Saturn Vue PHEV-10. Aims to get Saturn Vue on road in 2010; no production goal. See Chevy Volt for latest.
