Given that the new rule is requiring cars to have AEB that works at up to 62 mph, I can envision a scenario where a system that's programmed to operate conservatively thinks the car is too close to the vehicle in front and activates the binders. I was definitely driving slower than 62 mph when the Bimmer's HUD lit up.

A car like the Circuit does not like to be stuck on roads with 25 mph speed limits, but those roads made up most of the prescribed route. Can these things add up to make a car that people want to buy? It seems like it still may be cheaper to just buy a well used Lotus Elise and modify it yourself. Small size. New technology.
