Kenworth and Peterbilt to add heavy-duty Cummins Westport ISX12 G to line of natural gas engines

Kenworth is showing a T660 equipped with a CNG-powered ISX12 G engine at its booth at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville. The ISX12 G natural gas engine uses a maintenance-free, three-way catalyst and does not require a diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) tank, diesel particulate filter (DPF) or selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology.
