I watched the BMW i3s at Delaware University [an early V2X pilot], and my mind was blown. I want to be able to prove their concept. We’re a good testing ground to prove this kind of tech.

Despite having almost three years to iterate on the initial concept, the software in the Polestar 2 still feels very much like a first effort and one that’s not aging particularly well. This RWD variant effectively competes with the BMW i4 eDrive40, at least on paper. This is a tech-first brand, not a traditional luxury automaker.
