Electric cars are becoming an attractive business proposition for high-mileage vehicle operators such as ride-sharer Uber in key EU capitals such as Paris, Berlin, Madrid and Lisbon, a new study by research and campaign group Transport & Environment (T&E) has found. Charging is a key barrier for the uptake of EVs by professional drivers.

MAN eTGE battery-electric van to be mass-produced from July onwards

For around ten years, MAN Truck & Bus has been working on innovative concepts for supplying and removing material in the urban environment. A 40 kW charging station fills a battery up to 80% in 45 minutes. Approximately nine hours are needed for a full charge with 220V AC.
