Deutsche Post DHL Group introduces Green Carrier Certification as part of its sustainability roadmap

As part of its sustainability roadmap, Deutsche Post DHL Group aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to below 29 million tons by 2030 and net-zero by 2050. Ground transport accounts for 21 per cent of the Group’s total CO 2 e emissions. The full worldwide rollout will follow in 2022.

Scania receives order for 158 biofuel buses in Sweden; ethanol and biodiesel

Compared to using a conventional diesel engine, Keolis reduces carbon-dioxide emissions by 70% by using ethanol; for RME, the corresponding figure is 64%. Keolis Sverige’s vision is to use locally suited, sustainable transport to double transit ridership in Swedish cities.
