At a press event on Monday, Oregon’s governor, Ted Kulongoski, was talking up Nissan’s previously announced partnership with the state. But that cost in a built as an EV is much less than an ICE’s costs by about 1/2. In most conversions cost is about the same because of needless weight. Follow the money.
