Better Place, perhaps better known for its battery swap model, had on display its Level 2 charging stations ( charge spots ). Eaton’s quick charger can recharge the iMiEV to 80% of battery capacity in 25 minutes. Among those exhibiting were: Aerovironment. The company offers a broad range of Level 1, 2 and 3 charging solutions.

The California Energy Commission has approved eight grants that leverage more than $9.6 The projects will advance the manufacture of electric vehicles and vehicle batteries; add vehicle charging stations; and encourage the use of biofuels. Project partners will provide $1,000,000 to match the state grant. Leyden Energy, Inc.
