The hybrid crossover, to be produced in France (in Sochaux and Mulhouse), will be the first full hybrid diesel to hit the market. This requires the high-voltage batteries to be sufficiently charged. The inverter controls the torque of the electric motor by regulating the current from the high voltage battery pack.
