Toshiba Corporation has launched a 4-channel power amplifier IC, TB2941HQ, that improves noise tolerance in audio systems in cars with start-stop systems. Samples are available now with mass production scheduled to start in July 2013. Engines of cars with start-stop systems often cut out, causing battery voltage to drop.
